Glass options …

Lots of decisions, but here is a simple one you can vote on in a poll. We need obscure glass. I like the glass in the door in the pic to the right … but it is not a choice for us.

<sidebar: why is it called “obscure” glass? should it not be “obscured” glass? It just sounds wrong to me grammatically>.

Speaking of things that sound wrong … how should one pronounce “economics”? I keep hearing newscasts where the broadcaster says it like “eekonomical”, but I always say “ehconomical”.

Anyway, back to the poll …

There are other options (besides obscure glass), for example we could put in one way mirrors, could sandblast the windows (or sandblast a design in the windows), or we could use tinted glass (eg: bronze tint). While the tint will not obscure anyone, it might make out naked bodies seem a bit more tanned to people walking by on the street.

Oh – this is for all the little windows on the second floor.

The little windows are bathroom windows, and might be better with obscure glass.
